Product System Requirements

The following are the computer system requirements for our all K9 Bytes® products for the pet care industry.

K9 Koordinator All Versions (LITE, PRO, NET, Groomer, and CORPORATE)

PC with Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server (including Small Business Server) 2000, 2003, or 2008.

At least 2.0GHz Pentium 4 processor, 2.4GHz or higher recommended.

2 Gb free space on hard drive, 10 Gb recommended. More space could be needed depending on the number of clients, storage of photos, contracts, and other stored files.

512 RAM minimum, 1 Gb recommended.

Display with 1024 x 768 screen resolution or higher.

CD-ROM drive.

Microsoft Word 2003 or later.

Microsoft Outlook 2003 or later.

Latest Microsoft service packs installed.

K9 Koordinator Corporate Edition Additional Requirements

For the server computer: 2 Gb RAM minimum, 4 Gb recommended. The K9 Koordinator Corporate edition uses MS SQL Server 2008 R2 Express with Advanced Services.

QuickBooks PRO 2009 or later.

K9 Kiosk

PC with Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server 2000, 2003, or 2008.

256 MB minimum of RAM, 512 MB preferred.

50 MB free space on hard drive, 100 MB recommended.

Credit Card Processing

64-bit support for Windows 2008 Server, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows Vista Business

Pin-debit feature is not available in Macintosh Windows Emulators (credit card processing is available, just pin-debit feature is not available).
512 MB minimum of RAM.
50 MB free space on hard drive, 100 MB recommended.
Hayes compatible modem (capable of 1200 baud or less) with an analog phone line OR an Internet connection.
CD-ROM drive.
Merchant Account.
600 MHz or higher processor.
