The boarding service has two main components: Reservations, and the Check In & Out process. Our biggest priority is efficiency and ease of use. We understand that employees taking reservations want to focus on making a sale, and not necessarily be preoccupied with questions regarding details of the day to day operation of the kennel. After a pet file has been opened, both checking in & out can be done in just a few clicks, since all information for a typical boarding reservation can be stored in advance. Reservations and check out can be done for multiple pets at once.

Ability to take deposits for reservations. Deposits can be carried over to a future reservation or used at check out.
Waiting List for the entire year. The list can be sorted in a First-Come-First-Serve basis or to maximize your expected income, e.g. gives priority to customers that have more pets or are staying more days.
Accommodations: Runs and Suites
Automatic run transfers. Run transfer reports can be run for the same or in advance.
Run type auto-assignment based on the pet's weight.
Multiple pets can be assigned to the same run.
Pets can be moved using the layout screen during stay.
Book a pet to be a guest in your kennel in different runs for the same visit. This plays an important role if you have a limited amount of runs of a particular type, especially during busy seasons; for example, expensive VIP suites. Your vacancy screen will update accordingly to the pets reservation, and you will have reports that will show when pets need to be transfer from one run to another one. Run transfers are fully automated; so, after the transfers have been scheduled (you can schedule as many as you want for a pet in 1 visit) the system takes care of updating the pets run.
Scheduling
Schedule services, diets, medications, and run types for reservations before and after the pet is checked in.
Schedule meds and diets to appear in morning, afternoon, evening reports. Scheduling can be done daily, for a particular date, or As-Needed. You can set instructions for each scheduled med or diet, specify dosage, type of administration (injection, pill, etc), and also specify if there should be a charge or not. Meds and Diets are saved so you dont have to input them every time a pet visits.
Add retail items to a customer to be paid at check out.
Customer and Pets Information
Customer status that can be used for No-Show customers, or to Refuse reservations during peak seasons.
Unlimited notepads for a particular pet. Notepads can be used to make notes for a visit, reservation, or to simply document a particular issue with a customer or pet.
Tax-exempt, military, and senior citizen customers.
Keep track if kennel policy or contract has been signed.
Automatically fill in kennel contract with a customer and list of pets information.
Communication Tools
Use our mailing system to print or email postcards, thank you notes, reservations reminders, and so many more. Create your own templates to use with our mailing system.
Ability to send a boarding check out bill copy through email.
Exclude customers from email or mailing lists.
Discounts
Our system was designed to be fully automated, which means that once it is set up, all automatic discounts will be applied when needed, without the need for an employee to do so. Automatic discounts such as Long Term Boarding, First Customer, or Senior Citizen that will automatically adjust bills at check out, even for multiple pets being checked out at the same time. We have 14 different discounts designed with the feedback of several boarding, grooming, and training facilities all over the country.
Holidays and Season Rates
There are Low, High, and Christmas season rates. These rates can be adjusted by a fixed amount (lets say +$1 per day) or percentage (+10% of base rate), which is a great way to increase your profits during busy seasons. The vacancy screen shows these special dates, which makes easier for new employees to book reservations and inform customers with specials and important information. |
